We are seeking self-motivated candidates for Kingston Toyota and Lexus of Kingston’s Business Development Center.

Our BDC handles all of the incoming internet inquiries and helps with outbound sales calls. As a Business Development Representative, you will utilize your computer skills, courteous phone manners, and positive attitude to get clients to visit the dealership.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to internet inquiries with courtesy, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Promptly and accurately enter all customer inquiry data into the CRM software.
  • Generate sales appointments for our professional Sales & Leasing Representatives.
  • Effectively utilize lead management tools.
  • Must be comfortable making large amounts of outbound calls to our prospects daily.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Provide the highest degree of customer satisfaction.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Efficient typing, emailing, and texting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to work a 5 day work week, including Saturdays.
  • Ability to read and comprehend rules, regulations, policies and procedures.


Compensation includes: Salary base and benefits (medical, dental, disability and life insurance)

Duties of a Receptionist include:

  • Greet customers upon their arrival at the dealership.
  • Answer all incoming calls promptly, and direct the call to the appropriate department/individual or take messages.
  • Communicate with all callers in a friendly, efficient and professional manner and attempt to minimize the amount of time they are placed on hold.
  • File away all invoice and work orders.
  • Collect payments from customers and process invoices.
  • Follow closing procedures and ensure float is balanced at the end of the day.
  • May have to assist with administrative tasks.

Requirements for the Receptionist position include:

  • Excellent customer service skill
  • Team player
  • Bilingualism is an asset
  • High School diploma attained
  • Having auto technical knowledge is an asset
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Experience with computer program Reynolds & Reynolds (ERA) is an asset
